“You Give A Lot And I Deeply Appreciate How Much You Give.”

🚨 Affirmation Alert 🚨

Couple of things came to mind when I read this affirmation while flying back to Chicago from St. Louis. One was that you feel like you are asked to give a lot. The other was that even though I feel like you give a lot to Delilah and me, because I’m not always the best with affirmations, I also don’t tell you this enough. That must feel very thankless, or like your actions go unnoticed.

I am sorry for that, because you deserve to know just how grateful I am for all you do every day. Like get Delilah to day care all week while I’m away at work. I know I am also not the easiest person to deal with at times, and I appreciate that you put up with me as much as you do, and that you still find a way to make everything we do fun.

I deeply appreciate that you give a lot!
